Over the past twenty five years, Zeitgeist has been working to build our vision of an artistic utopia for the city of Nashville.
In celebration of Zeitgeist’s 25th anniversary this summer, we’ve invited 19 Zeitgeist artists to share their vision of Xanadu. 
Xanadu can be seen as the utopia of Samuel Coleridge’s poem to the false utopia built by Charles Foster Kane in Citizen Kane. Kublai Khan’s grand palace paradise or Kane’s amassed, pilfered treasures and shallow opulence. To the neon lighted imagery of the 1980 roller disco cult-classic musical starring Olivia Newton John.
